Off-grid Solar Power 102.6 KWp system

Supporting Organization

Ratan Tata Endowment Foundation came forward under their CSR initiative to engage with Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith, Deoghar. They have donated Rs. 75,90,501/- for the installation of Off-grid Solar Power 102.6 KWp system.

Impact

Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith had to pay a huge amount of Electricity Charges, Diesel Expenses, and Generator Maintenance Expenses for the smooth running of the entire campus, including school, residential hostels, dairy, charitable dispensary, laboratories, and computer systems to the extent of Rs 2 lacs every month. This project will help to curtail this cost aspect of running the ashrama.

Special Thanks

Vidyapith would like to thank Mr. Sidharth Sharma (GC, Tata Group) and Mr. Mohit Agrawal (Ratan Tata Endowment Foundation) for their kind assistance in helping us in coordinating the donation from The Ratan Tata Endowment Foundation. Thanks to EC Praktani for supporting us in CSR activities and special thanks to Shri Rishi Prakash (Class of 1997, Vidyapith), Member of EC, Praktani for coordinating the entire process from the beginning, starting with approaching the donors to negotiating with the vendor till the conclusion of the Project.

Acknowledgement from Vidyapith
