Central Coalfield Limited

New Medical Ward for Vidyapith Inmates • Central Coalfield Limited •

Current Scenario

The infrastructure of the indoor hospital at the secondary section is old and congested with beds lying adjacent to each other, which makes the situation dangerous in case of outbreak of communicable diseases. For the last few years, Vidpapith has been exploring the construction of a new Medical Ward for inmates of Vidyapith adjacent to the current building.

Supporting Organization

By the grace of the holy trio, Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) has come forward under their CSR initiative to engage with Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith, Deoghar. They have donated Rs. 2,89,37,123/- for the construction of a new Medical Ward for inmates of Vidyapith, which will have 56 beds across 2 floors. Vidyapith would like to thank Shri Harsh Nath Mishra, Director, Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), Ranchi, and Shri Siddhartha Shankar Lal, GM (SD & CSR), Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), Ranchi, for their kind assistance in helping us coordinate the donation from the Central Coalfields Limited.

Impact of this project

The new medical ward is a positive step towards future-proofing the medical needs of the ashrama, while helping to provide better medical attention to the Vidyapith inmates in need.
