Donation of Medical Equipment to RKMV, Deoghar for Diagnostic Use

We are happy to update that two important diagnostic equipment – Semi Automated Biochemistry Analyzer and Fully Automated Hematology Analyzer – were installed at our Alma Mater recently. It took over a week for the specialist engineers, who visited Deoghar, to do the complete installation, train the hospital staffs, and help Vidyapith management with multiple demos of the equipment. Both the equipment are installed at the Sharda Charitable Dispensary, run by Vidyapith for treating both the external and internal patients. These two equipment were procured and provided to the Vidyapith hospital facility as one of the initiatives by Vidyapith Praktani Executive Committee (EC). Vidyapith management had shared a list of required medical equipment with the EC early this year. The EC initiated the process and explored three different vendors before shortlisting the best who could deliver at Vidyapith, Deoghar at the lowest possible cost. The EC, at all times, kept Vidyapith management informed of the progress and coordinated with all parties for the delivery and installation. The vendor has also provided Vidyapith with an extended two-year warranty and promised to visit whenever required. The pictures of the equipment are enclosed below. The entire cost of both these equipment was INR 4,26,040 /- and was raised with the constant support of EC Member Manoj Jha (1988 batch) through ‘Makeen Energy’. We hope that the success of this initiative, and the effort and planning put in by motivated Praktani members, act as an inspiration for all of us to join hands and to contribute to the betterment of our alma mater on a sustained basis.
