Dr. Chandan Kumar is Chief of Staff at Medanta, Gurugram, and a clinician turned management consultant. An alumnus of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapeeth, Deoghar, he completed his MBBS and MD in Pathology from UCMS & GTB Hospital and trained in Oncopathology at AIIMS, New Delhi. He later pursued his MBA from IIM Calcutta, moving from diagnostics to healthcare management.

He has worked with BCG and the American Oncology Institute, where he led strategic initiatives in oncology. At present, in Medanta, he drives institutional growth and patient-centered innovation—scaling oncology and diagnostics and enhancing patient care processes.

He sees himself as a bridge between clinical expertise and strategic leadership, blending medical insight with management vision.
